Kennesaw State taps into Kennesaw Mountain

Kennesaw Mountain point guard Spencer Dixon didn't have to look very far for college. The 6-foot senior is taking his game down the street to Kennesaw State.

Dixon told Georgia Hoops on Monday night that he was ready to suit up for Tony Ingle next season. The Owls secured one of the top uncommitted point guards in the area in Dixon.

The Kennesaw Mountain star was named tournament MVP in Florida at the Bishop Moore Classic, where he scored 34 points in the championship game against Fort Myers. He also rebounded seven shots and handed out eight assists in the game.

Dixon is the 38th Division I basketball commitment in the 2008 in Georgia.
